Web20 mar 2014 · I have two sets of the typical talon grip jaws. I bought this set for roughing or first op work on round stock. They work great. You can hang on to a minimum of approx. .060" and get after it. It beats making soft jaw and saves on stock size. I highly recommend as a great time saver and very effective tool. Small shop owner/operator. Web18 mar 2024 · Got tired of moving the grips around and stripping the 10-32 or M5 screws? Bought an off the shelf full grip jaw and it done broked. Decided to make my own. Made from Mcmaster 8892K35 ground stock. Probably would just make from standard bar stock in future, but i would change design. We'll see if this holds up. I use them. It is a very good platform because one set of jaws can be used as regular flat jaws w/ parallels, or with flat grippers, serrated round grippers or smooth round grippers.
