WebThe Minister for Emergency Management, together with the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, may authorise a contribution of up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) per event. Government contributions above $100,000 (GST exclusive) per event will require Cabinet approval. As of April 2024, all contributions are announced as GST exclusive amounts. However, your cumulative work period must not exceed 70 hours. Short term variations cannot be approved for more than 14 days in total and must be applied for before it is needed.
