Spins, stops, spins, stops (there is a tick noise each time it stops). I know this pack is a lost cause, but is there any way of knowing if a pack of DVDs will work or not before I waste my money? WebNov 14, 2024 · Strangely, this fixed it. Just put two pieces of tape on the side like that and ps2 will read the discs. It’s so weird. Have no idea why it works but it does for me. My guess is the disk is slightly heavier, making the motor work harder to maintain its usual RPM, giving the laser more time to read the disc.
