I'm trying to build a good Rafiq deck with a below 100$ budget. I took inspiration from the youtube channel "The commander's quarters" and from EDHRec. Also I tried to follow that guideline from MTGGoldfish's Tomer Abramovici : " 50 mana; lands and ramp, usually a 37–13 split.

Many other Voltrons have Hexproof or Flying, this is what you should pay attention to. Other than that, I play Voltron decks a lot more interactive than my tribal decks.

WebRafiq is certainly more powerful, as double strike adds additional value to the things you use to suit him up while also allowing you to use a different creature to voltron if you're afraid to let him die. However, the issue with people automatically assuming that your deck is too powerful before the game starts is something you should consider.
