WebThe hours on steam is only logged if you are playing while connected to the steam network. If you are playing while steam is offline or steam somehow loses connection, no hours will be logged. If your game is modded in some way and launched via a third party exe, it will not be counted. WebSteam doesn't care about this values at all and don't check\validate them. With small knowledge of Steam API and simple tool like Postman you could trick Steam into thinking that you play 100 games at the same time. And he will count hours into all of them at the same time. Do this for one year - boom, you have 100 years played on your account.
