You don’t want the hive(s)to tip over, especially during the winter months when you may not notice them for days to weeks. Once the location is ready, it’s time to get the moving gear in order. The following list is what we use to move bees. WebKeep in mind that it’s cold, rainy, and my first time transferring a new nuc. I find the number and call the owner. He calls the supplier and they offer to replace it for him at no charge. Not the ideal way to get a 2 for 1, but it happened. I get the first nuc successfully transferred with no issues and felt comfortable about how things went.
