WebMar 25, 2008 · I have the same amp, Mark. Mine is in really nice shape, but was $325. You're right, it's way more amp than you need, but it does sound good at low volume. It takes a while to get the right sound with all of the controls. I tend to leave the equalizer and tone knobs more or less flat and use the guitar pre-amp to shape the sound. WebAbout This Listing. The gain from both are surprising and with both having a master volume as well, they are pretty good for home/practice amps although the VC50 can hang in a club setting and easily match your drummer.
