WebNov 2, 2024 · It might not be the PTU. It might be the wiring harness. I had the same issue with the 4WD service light. They said PTU, but when they pulled the wiring connection they found a corroded plug. Replaced the wiring at $58 instead of a PTU at $600. Thanks to an honest service tech. No 4WD srv issues since.
